Patient Services Coordinator

GenesisCare is seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Patient Services Officer to join our team in Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. This full-time position offers an initial maximum term contract ending September 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to clients and staff while maintaining a professional, caring, and friendly demeanor.
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Manage an environment with ongoing change and competing priorities, adapting to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations, ensuring accurate processing of relevant paperwork.
- Process billing and receipting at the time of appointment, maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure the smooth running of the clinic, liaising with the team to optimize processes.
- Manage patient records and filing of patient notes, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Previous medical industry experience or a willingness to learn new systems and applications.
- Ability to provide ongoing patient care and customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Previous experience working individually or as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare mechanisms is highly valued.
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries, with high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
