Sil Coordinator Job Opportunity

Are you an experienced and dedicated professional seeking a challenging role in the disability sector? We are seeking a skilled Sil Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:

As a Sil Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Homes. This includes establishing support plans and risk assessments for participants that reflect their needs and goals. You will also ensure restrictive practices reporting is completed within the required timeframe and to the required authorities.

You will work collaboratively with clients' families, teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes for individuals requiring complex support services. Your role will involve liaising with support workers to deliver supports inline with support plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience with NDIS and management expertise
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in service quoting, understanding the NDIS Price Guide and SIL quoting process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships
  • The ability to handle sensitive client matters discreetly, display empathy, and maintain confidentiality
