Role Summary

A growing NDIS SIL-approved provider is seeking an experienced intake officer to establish relationships with a network of NDIS Support Coordinators, NDIS intermediaries and other client's advocates.

  • Establish relationships with NDIS stakeholders to meet eligible clients' needs.
  • Manage SIL accommodation vacancies within our properties by sourcing suitable clients, managing referrals, undertaking initial client assessments and working together with the participant, care manager or family throughout the allocation process.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Working within a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate timely access to appropriate SIL accommodation and support services.
    • Advocating and assisting clients and their families to navigate the NDIS system.
    • Managing client inquiries and referrals across multiple IT systems.
    • Being the first point of contact for new client referrals and inquiries.
    • Gathering information, reading and interpreting client NDIS plans to assess their care needs, funding and suitability for one of our vacancies.
    • Organising property inspections for clients and determining whether we can offer an accommodation.
    • Working closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate data entry into client files.
Requirements

NDIS SIL experience: 2 years (preferred)

Work authorisation in Australia (preferred)

Benefits

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Heidelberg West VIC relocation preferred
