About the role

Accessible Care is seeking an experienced SIL Teamleader to join our team in Mount Waverley, VIC. As a casual SIL Teamleader, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our team of support workers in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients with disabilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a team of support workers
  • Ensure that all client needs are met in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide guidance, training and support to the support worker team
  • Liaise with clients, their families and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise, and implement effective solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery model

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a disability or community services field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within the aged care or disability support sector
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team of support workers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
