Signal Electrician Team Leader

About the Role
">The Signal Electrician In Charge will oversee a designated maintenance team, ensuring efficient work order completion and supporting team members with technical challenges. This role involves supervising a team, performing maintenance inspections, installing and maintaining signalling equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring overall reliability of signalling systems.

- Supervise maintenance teams to ensure compliance-based work orders are prioritized, defect management is effective, and critical spares are managed efficiently.">
- Liaise with local RM and MPM teams to coordinate work, participate in possession planning, and planning activities.">
- Manage rostering, timesheet entries, and maintain accurate records.">
- Collaborate with colleagues to address network issues outside standard working hours as part of an on-call roster.">
- Maintain strong communication skills to interpret technical drawings, resolve technical challenges, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A certified electrical assessor's certification and hold a Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signalling).">
- Previous experience in signal electrician roles.">
- Competency in fault rectification, testing, commissioning & decommissioning of Signalling Systems.">
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines and priorities.">
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.">
- A valid Class C Driver's license and current RIW card.">
- Intermediate computer literacy and rail maintenance background.">
