About this role:

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join our diverse team as a Compensation Claims Specialist, where you will make a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

The purpose of this role is to support our Case Management teams by providing up-to-date technical guidance on compensation payment schemes and assisting in their administration. This position operates in a customer-centric environment that focuses on proactive management of claims.

You will be working in a dynamic environment with opportunities to continuously learn and grow within the company. As part of our team, you will receive comprehensive training and development support to help you achieve your goals.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the team on solutions to maximise the effectiveness of case management.
  • Ensure claims teams achieve performance and KPA targets as set out as part of our Business Unit (BU) performance framework.
  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures.

About you:

  • Strong technical experience in workers' compensation claims.
  • Proven experience coaching & mentoring case managers in the workers compensation industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of relevant NSW Workers compensation laws and the associated regulations.
  • You have previous experience working as a case manager or a technical specialist background.
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health or Legislation are desirable.
