Trade Marketing Executive

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting two of our most exciting growth brands – Never Never Distilling Co. and StrangeLove. This is an opportunity to elevate the on- and off-premise channels, drive visibility, distribution, and execution in-venue to boost sales velocity per outlet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a rolling 18-month trade marketing plan across Never Never & StrangeLove, aligned with brand and sales objectives.
  • Design and deliver trade marketing programs that drive visibility, distribution, and execution in-venue to boost sales velocity per outlet.
  • Build and manage trade assets including bar hardware, POS, staff training tools, recipes, and promotional kits.
  • Partner with sales, brand, and category teams to support NPD launches, campaigns, and in-field activations.
  • Lead the integration of digital solutions and data-driven insights into trade marketing activity.
  • Report on trade activation performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise growth.
  • Act as the key contact for on- and off-premise partners, ensuring best-in-class execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in trade, digital, or brand marketing (FMCG or on-premise background ideal; spirits experience desirable).
  • Solid understanding of the on- and off-premise landscape, consumer behaviour, and customer engagement.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and translate insights into action.
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset – able to build structure, resources, and processes in an evolving environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills, with the confidence to work cross-functionally.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field, and a current Australian driver's license.
