Job Opportunity: Optical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop advanced optical systems for our cutting-edge technology. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with research scientists to drive scientific progress and ensure robust system performance in the field.

About the Role:

  • Design, build, and test ruggedized and miniaturized optical systems for onboard deployment.
  • Work with physicists, engineers, and stakeholders to create high-precision measurement systems.
  • Be part of the team responsible for integrating, testing, and validating newly commissioned sensors.
  • Participate in critical quantum sensing field trials with key industry partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in physics or a related field.
  • A track record of delivering high-precision free-space optical designs, including analysis, tolerancing, alignment, and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing with ZEMAX software.
  • Experience with design, tolerancing, and precise optical alignment.
