Senior Optical Engineer

Our organization is looking for a skilled Senior Optical Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge optical systems for our quantum sensors. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering and research teams to design, construct, and test ruggedized and miniaturized optical systems suitable for onboard deployment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in physics or a related field and have a proven track record of delivering high-precision free-space optical designs. Experience with ZEMAX software is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for integration, testing, and validation of newly commissioned sensors. Additionally, they will contribute to critical quantum sensing field trials with key industry partners.

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in physics or a related field
  • A track record of delivering high-precision free-space optical designs, including analysis, tolerancing, alignment, and validation
  • Demonstrated experience designing with ZEMAX
