Strategic Marketing and Business Development Specialist

About This RoleThis is an essential position in the wider marketing and BD team, working closely with senior stakeholders within the business as well as external suppliers. You'll report into the Marketing Manager, aligning with national priorities and plans.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing Responsibilities:
- Support service line and industry marketing managers in implementing Melbourne components of national campaigns, including events, webinars, EDMs, digital marketing, website, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Work with the national service line BD manager to plan, design, and execute the national strategy.
- Coordinate client events for local and national marketing & BD campaigns.
- Develop internal and external communications according to firm guidelines.
- Implement end-to-end client communications, including drafting, marketing automation campaign flows, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Digital team on CRM integration and management, extending to the firm's suite of marketing tools, such as Marketo and webinar platform, ON24.
- Work closely with executive assistants in Melbourne to rollout local initiatives, events, and training.
- Develop quality collateral with the in-house designer.
- Manage the photography process and relationship with an external photographer.
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Support in developing proposals for high-value/strategic pursuits, including structuring, tailoring CVs, project managing contributions from internal teams, etc.
- Attend internal pursuit and client meetings for high-value/strategic pursuits, driving actions with the pursuit team.
- Develop pitch presentation materials.
- Assist BDM in actioning bid Win/Loss debriefs.
- Champion content on SharePoint and coach teams to utilize for 'self-serve' support.
- Participate/lead training on templates for EAs and Future Leaders, acting as a 'go-to' support for proposals.
- Maintain tenders folders, including maintaining folders for office Case Studies, Client Testimonials, etc.
- Work with Partners to develop prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce CRM.
- Support the BDM in driving and tracking client activity using Salesforce CRM.
We're looking for someone with professional services experience, a degree qualification in marketing or a related business discipline, and experience working on multi-channel content marketing campaigns. Strong skills in MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, are essential. Experience with electronic mail software systems and CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is highly regarded. You should also have experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, priorities that change, and competing deadlines.
