Content Development Editor Position

The role of Content Development Editor is a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality learning resources for our clients. This position supports the Lexis Learning team in developing and publishing online content that meets the needs of professionals across various industries.

This full-time role involves working closely with authors, internal teams, and external experts to ensure timely publication of online learning resources. Key responsibilities include administrative assistance, communication with authors and teams, production support, and maintaining currency of information in databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative assistance to ensure publishing deadlines are met
  • Providing support to the team for LexisNexis' learning management platform
  • Effective communication with authors and across internal teams
  • Production support, including proof-reading and recording
  • Maintaining currency of information in databases
  • Competently filing electronic content
  • Communicating effectively with team members and external authors
  • Willingsness to learn new technologies such as virtual learning tools

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Windows, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and the Internet
  • High level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Experience in editing, proof reading, document control or authoring tools advantageous
