Job Title: Content Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Content Manager to oversee all aspects of our publishing process, including project management, copy-editing, proofreading, managing page proofs, and providing final files for a wide range of adult titles.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an enthusiastic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Read and report on manuscripts, proposals, and books submitted for publication.
  • Maintain title data in our bibliographic system, updating throughout the publishing process.
  • Manage copyright clearances for text and visual materials.
  • Provide editorial and general administrative support to our dynamic local publishing department.

Requirements:

  • A passion for reading across a wide variety of genres.
  • An eye for detail and thorough knowledge of spelling and grammar.
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an enthusiastic environment.
