About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Asia Pacific region, driving business development and strategy, overseeing overall sales operations, and managing a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and growth in the APAC region
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure sales targets are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions and services
  • Represent the business at industry meetings and trade shows, building relationships with key stakeholders and partners
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and regular reporting, ensuring accurate and timely data
  • Develop, implement, and review KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics to drive sales performance
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in sales leadership roles, with at least three+ years' focus on the APAC region. You should have extensive experience in business development and solution sales within multinational technology organizations, with a critical understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment within APAC.

You should have demonstrated experience in successfully leading dispersed and remote teams of international professionals, as well as skills in developing and executing budgets, strategies, activities, and KPIs to achieve business outcomes.

A degree qualification in Engineering, Science, or Technology is preferred, coupled with a strong customer focus, proven ability to win new business, and experience in managing Bid/Tenders Team or having worked closely with them.
