Key Responsibilities:- Claims Management: Handle and manage a portfolio of commercial property claims from initial notification through to settlement.
- Assessment and Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims to determine coverage, liability, and quantum.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support claims decisions.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlements with claimants, brokers, and third parties to achieve fair and equitable outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the claims team.
- Governance and Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations and customer quality standards.
- Prior experience working in an insurance, claims or legal environment managing property claims.
- Confidence when dealing with people, in what can be difficult circumstances, whilst acting with compassion and delivering the best outcome for our client.
- A commercial mindset.
- The ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
