About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage a portfolio of commercial claims across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial claims, adhering to authority levels within the relevant business lines.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and brokers to deliver a superior claims service that prioritizes customer needs.
  • Engage with global large loss teams according to authority procedures and maintain a transparent reporting philosophy.
  • Monitor assigned claims to ensure efficient handling, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Present loss and claims information to stakeholders, optimize recoverable income through proactive reinsurance engagement, and manage external service providers.
  • Support business development initiatives and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Two years of experience in the insurance industry, with a solid understanding of claims processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, strategic, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation and investigation skills, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage tasks and resources.
  • Current knowledge of insurance guidelines, legislation, and regulations, as well as proficiency with relevant systems and tools.
