Electrical Estimator and Team Lead

About the Role:

This Electrical Estimator and Team Lead position is a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting industry.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of the estimating team, ensuring tenders are submitted in line with company procedures and standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing electrical tenders by building customer relationships, delegating tasks, and identifying efficient execution methods.
  • Developing quotations, maintaining communication with clients and team members, and delivering projects on time.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the estimating team by coordinating the bidding process, reviewing tenders, and preparing accurate estimates.
  • Mentoring the estimating team, providing timely support for project success, and assisting in compliance with estimating processes.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in electrical estimating, team management, and data analysis.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical design and construction standards, as well as proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership abilities, and adaptability to change.

Formal education and qualifications include engineering or project management degrees, current open electrical licenses, and driver's licenses.

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and industry knowledge will be discussed with the successful candidate.
