Electrical Estimating Supervisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimating Supervisor to oversee the estimating department's processes and procedures, ensuring tenders are handled and submitted in alignment with our company's Procedures and Standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical tenders, including building and maintaining customer relationships, delegating authority, and identifying efficient methods for task execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop quotations and keep clients informed, while assisting various project and service groups as required.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and team members, delivering tenders/jobs on time and meeting client requirements and expectations.
Supporting the Estimating Team:
  • Coordinate the bidding process, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the tender.
  • Review tenders with clients to discuss service options and project objectives.
  • Prepare accurate tenders from conceptual and schematic design phases to final estimates.
Education, Skills, and Experience Needed:
  • Proven experience in electrical estimating within an electrical contracting organization.
  • Strong data and cost analysis skills for accurate quote and proposal formulation.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with AutoDesk Construction Cloud, ConEst, and Salesforce is a plus.
Demonstrated Experience:
  • The electrical and communications contracting industry.
  • Tendering for electrical and communications projects.
  • Developing estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualifications in Engineering or Project Management (preferred).
  • Current Open Electrical License (preferred).
  • Driver's License.
