About the Role

The ideal candidate will oversee estimating department processes and procedures, including daily management of an estimating team to ensure tenders are handled and submitted in alignment with company procedures and standards.

Responsibilities include managing own electrical tenders, building and maintaining customer relationships, organizing work teams, identifying efficient methods for task execution, developing quotations, and keeping clients informed.

Additionally, the successful candidate will support the estimating team by coordinating the bidding process, reviewing tenders with clients, preparing accurate tenders, and ensuring timely preparedness of estimates for management review.

A strong data and cost analysis skill set is essential, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the electrical and communications contracting industry, tendering for electrical and communications projects, developing estimates, budgets, and financial reports, and understanding contracts and tender processes for major projects is also required.
