Estimating Operations Manager Position

At a leading prefab manufacturer in Australia, we specialise in Roof Trusses, Wall Frames and Floor Panels.

This exciting opportunity is for an Estimating Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations of all estimating teams, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and workflow efficiency. The role involves coordinating department resources efficiently to meet business demands and ensure business commercial and operational performance targets are met.

As an Estimating Operations Manager, you will oversee quality standards, implement quality control processes and monitor error rates. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality estimating outputs and collaborate with various internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the estimating function in Victoria, India and Vietnam and explore new technologies to support the Estimating department.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service delivery, manage client relationships and resolve estimating-related issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams and strong understanding of estimating processes and construction industry practices.
  • Experience in coordinating operations across multiple geographies (time zones), locations or teams and excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in performance management, team development and succession planning.
