Key Responsibilities of a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Professional

This role involves implementing and monitoring environmental health and safety programs, identifying risks, and establishing guidelines for mitigation.

  • Develop strategies to minimize exposure to risks inherent in operations
  • Collaborate with employees on training them on EHS guidelines, company policies, and procedures
  • Audit safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Analyze data to produce accurate metrics for use by leadership for trending and information purposes

Requirements: Degree or equivalent experience desired

Technical Skills Required:
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling exposure to risks
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
