We are seeking an Improvement Specialist to lead the planning and delivery of key programs with a focus on building team capability in continuous improvement, supporting local initiatives, and helping new ideas become part of day-to-day operations for our Specialist Operations and Coordination division.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position.
While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Burwood East in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Operational Communications Advisor responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Design and deliver best practice program and project management tools, methodologies, and governance arrangements to build improvement and innovation capability across the division
Manage divisional projects using best practices to ensure timely delivery, quality, and clear communication
Develop systems and processes to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives after implementation, providing reports and recommendations as required to support continual improvement
Support business plan development to meet strategic goals
Achieve program outcomes through genuine collaboration and hands on championing of workplace priorities and objectives, working closely with required stakeholders

About you
To be considered for this role, candidates should hold a postgraduate qualification or relevant industry certification (or be actively working toward one), along with extensive experience in a related field.
A combination of formal training and solid practical experience will also be considered.
You will possess:

Completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification in improvement science or project management (or progress toward) with high level relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience
Demonstrated experience coaching and building capability in project management or improvement science, including an understanding of adult learning principles
Demonstrated experience in program monitoring and reporting to support sound governance mechanisms and achievement of objectives
Highly developed planning and organising skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling of work tasks for self and others to ensure work priorities are completed on time and within budget, and to effectively operate in a high workload environment
