About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Leader for Student Support to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to ensure that all students have access to a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is AU$ 84,107 - AU$ 109,099 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with teachers and education assistants to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with learning difficulties;
  • Lead the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for students with special needs;
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers on classroom management and behavior modification techniques;
  • Liaise with parents and therapists to ensure that students receive the best possible support; and
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and success of students through regular progress monitoring and feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience working in education, preferably in a leadership or coaching capacity;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Western Australian curriculum and assessment requirements;
  • Experience working with students with special needs and developing ILPs;
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about student support; and
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
