Luxury Hotel Operations Manager

The Night Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This includes being the primary point of contact for guests and colleagues, overseeing night operations, and maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and security.
The individual is responsible for accurately reporting all night activities and making informed decisions on behalf of management in the event of an incident or emergency. They also conduct regular briefings with the overnight team, communicate important information, and monitor performance and standards throughout the hotel.
A key aspect of this role is the accurate completion of operational documents and financial audit procedures, including credit limit checks, cashier closures, and correspondence. The Night Manager must also be able to perform rate checks, prepare daily summary reports, and oversee personalized check-in and check-out procedures.
Liaising with the Credit Manager on credit check reports is another essential duty, as is ensuring that team members understand the importance of delivering excellent audit and service performance. In the event of a fire emergency or activation of the fire panel, the Night Manager acts as chief warden and responds to first-aid incidents, reporting any usage of first aid equipment.
