As an Agricultural Business Growth Specialist, you will drive business expansion in the agricultural sector. This role is crucial to our expanding AmSpec Agri operations, reporting directly to the Agricultural Country Manager.
This position entails monitoring market trends and client needs within the agricultural sector. You will collaborate with the leadership team to develop sales and business development strategies aligned with market requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor market trends and client needs within the agricultural sector
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop sales and business development strategies aligned with market requirements
- Meet annual sales targets by implementing effective sales and marketing plans
- Work closely with the global sales team to coordinate regional sales efforts
- Gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies
- Maintain regular contact with customers and potential clients
- Develop and manage customer contact programs, including after-sales support and service
- Create and maintain local marketing materials in line with company guidelines
- Assist with social media content creation to promote regional activities
- Attend regional trade fairs and industry conferences
- Provide general support to the overall AmSpec Agri operation in Australia
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with grain industry sampling, testing, and industry standards is advantageous
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Pro-active attitude and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel regularly interstate and occasionally overseas
