National Business Development Manager – Agricultural Services
About the Role:This is a full-time opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving growth and expansion within the agricultural services sector.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who can assist our leadership team in defining local sales and business development strategies, achieving annual sales targets, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the grain industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with global sales teams to coordinate sales efforts within the region.
- Gather market intelligence to formulate sales strategies.
- Establish and manage customer contact programs to include after-sales support and service.
- Develop and maintain local marketing materials in synergy with company guidelines.
- Assist with the development of social media articles to promote activities within the region.
- Attend regional trade fairs and industry conferences.
- Provide general support to the overall AmSpec Agri operation in Australia.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as within a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of grain industry sampling, testing, and industry standards advantageous.
