This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective diversity and inclusion initiatives and community engagement programs across our Queensland operations.
You will work closely with senior leadership, project leaders, people, communications, and procurement teams to ensure that CDI principles are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
Your impact will be felt through the delivery of:
- Program development: design and implement programs that develop a more inclusive and diverse workplace, aligned to the global strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan commitments, and client expectations.
- Community engagement and partnership management: meet social performance commitments by managing key community stakeholder relationships, including Traditional Owners and Community Partners.
- Training and education: educate leaders and employees on CDI topics, fostering an inclusive culture through ongoing education and awareness.
- Subject matter expert advice: provide guidance to leaders and employees on matters related to CDI topics.
- Data analysis and reporting: monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CDI initiatives, analysing data, measuring progress, and informing strategic decisions.
- Strategy development: contribute to business performance and growth through informed decision-making.
About You
You will have strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee initiatives effectively. You possess strong communication skills, with a proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
A deep understanding of cultural and diversity nuances, particularly in Indigenous cultures, is essential. Experience in Human Resources, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, or Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs is advantageous. A degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Humanities, Communications, or Arts, and/or Business is desirable but not required.
