Key to delivering exceptional customer outcomes is a skilled and collaborative Claims Leader. This professional will oversee a high-performing Motor Claims team, managing the full end-to-end claims lifecycle.
- Lead a team of Claims Controllers, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
- Motivate and coach individual team members through regular feedback and formal performance reviews.
- Address escalated matters and customer complaints, preparing responses and submissions as required.
- Analyse team and claims data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claims issues, enhance cross-functional initiatives and improve claims processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims, effective leadership skills and a focus on coaching and capability building.
They will be able to analyse complex data, make informed decisions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
This role is based in New South Wales, Australia and will involve working closely with the Head of Claims within the Risk business unit.
