Claims Executive Leader

This role is pivotal in driving our business objectives, contributing significantly on a strategic level. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of claims professionals, managing a diverse portfolio of executive and professional lines claims in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of claims experts, overseeing a broad range of executive and professional lines claims.
  • Set performance expectations, coach, and develop team members to achieve excellence.
  • Collaborate with the broader team, including underwriting and actuaries, on claims trends, portfolio development, policy wordings, and risk issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and broker partners, communicating our commitment to delivering exceptional claims service.
  • As needed, travel to customer/broker meetings, mediations, conferences, and industry events.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years' experience handling a broad range of executive and professional lines claims for an insurer or in legal practice, demonstrating technical expertise in negotiating and settling complex claims. They will also exhibit strong business acumen and an understanding of claims as a key contributor to overall insurance operations.
