Senior Claims Manager Role Overview">

EML Group, located in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a Senior Claims Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a claims professional to work across Australia, managing a portfolio of workers' compensation claims and achieving early and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return-to-work outcomes while controlling claim costs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to develop effective return-to-work strategies.
  • Support injured workers and employers throughout the claim process, managing expectations and facilitating access to necessary services.
  • Assess liability and recovery aspects in accordance with legislation and policies, conducting ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments.
  • Handle escalations, providing coaching and mentoring to team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of claims management experience within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme or equivalent industry experience.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and motivated to deliver customer-centric support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
