About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Engineer to join our team in the Mining and Industrial verticals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding our client footprint in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to engage with current and new stakeholders in the mining industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver bespoke services.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sales strategies and oversee the relationship through delivery.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the mining industry.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an Industrial Sales role with a proven track record of Business Development.
- Qualifications or a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, or related fields.
- Experience in the business development to the mining industry is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts.
- Strategic thinker with a can-do attitude and ability to work with all levels of business.
