About the Role:
As a Radiation Therapist at Austin Health, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing best practice care for patients. You will enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees.
Applicants will demonstrate excellent technical, interpersonal, and team skills, as well as demonstrated communication skills, the ability to coordinate and document, and deliver excellent patient care. The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and also be embracing of change and innovation.
A regular day will see you:
- Assess and treat patients, liaising as appropriate with family members and caregivers to promote patient care.
- Facilitate a coordinated approach to total patient management by working with other team members where required.
- Appropriately document patient management and provide information to relevant parties.
- Participate in continuing education activities, eg. Austin Health programs.
About You:
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You will bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and also be embracing of change and innovation. The successful candidate will be working within a dynamic team providing essential radiation therapy services to our patients in context to Austin Health Values.
