About the Role:
As a Radiation Therapist at Austin Health, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing best practice care for patients.
You'll enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients, liaising as appropriate with family members and caregivers to promote patient care
- Facilitate a coordinated approach to total patient management by working with other team members where required
- Appropriately document patient management and provide information to relevant parties
- Participate in continuing education activities, eg. Austin Health programs
About You:
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
You'll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
Requirements:
- Radiation Therapist qualification and current AHPRA registration
- Ability to provide treatment for a wide variety of clinical conditions
- Desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
