About the Role:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building and strengthening customer relationships, increasing sales and providing excellent service to existing customers. You will focus on prospecting new accounts, cross-selling and upselling, whilst servicing and maintaining existing accounts. You will be accountable for building strategy and strengthening new and existing client relationships. The role will have a key focus on the growth of the MEDISCA brand.

The Opportunity:

  • Account Management: Maintain existing accounts and build relationships with key decision-makers. Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins.
  • New Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and successfully convert them into MEDISCA customers. Increase MEDISCA's share of existing accounts and leverage existing healthcare compounding prescribers to increase MEDISCA's brand.
  • Collaboration and Coaching: Work collaboratively with Account Executives to discuss existing accounts and strategize on how to increase business. Provide leads and referrals to visit and deliver value and customer solutions.

Travel: One to four weeks of international travel per year to visit clients and attend trade shows.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Business is an asset.
  • 4+ years of experience in a sales role.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Pharmaceutical compounding experience is highly regarded.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience contacting, visiting, and selling to doctors, hospitals, and pharmacists.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to problem-solve.
  • Proven decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and proven ability to network and maintain a professional and positive image.
