Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Relationship Manager to join our team. As a central point of contact for support workers and participants, this role is core to what makes us different from other support providers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and continuously developing relationships between participants and their team of Support Workers, assessing participant needs, and developing our support program. They will also maintain relationships with support coordinators, house supervisors, and other relevant external stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and develop relationships between participants and Support Workers
  • Assess participant needs and develop our support program
  • Maintain relationships with support coordinators, house supervisors, and other external stakeholders
  • Lead the Support Worker teams to provide responsive, person-centered care that enables participants to progress toward their goals
  • Report on participant progress and prepare submissions for NDIS plan reviews as required
  • Coordinate staff rosters and proactively resolve rostering issues
  • Accurately note cases and conduct client reviews that reflect forward planning in line with participant NDIS plans
  • Ensure compliance with our policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and detailed incident reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in the disability sector, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Administrative and Business Communication Skills: Professional level of administrative and business communication skills, including case noting and report writing
  • Time Management and Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Client-Centred Approach: A proven client-centred approach with the ability to advocate for Participants and an understanding of complex disability and trauma
  • Own Car and Driver's License: Own car and driver's license
  • Interpersonal Skills and Resilience: Strong interpersonal skills and high levels of resilience
  • Understanding of the NDIS: Understanding of the NDIS
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Employee Rostering Systems: Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and employee rostering systems
