Workforce Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Planner to join our Workforce Planning team at Qantas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the forward planning process to minimize late shift and roster changes that inflate operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing operational and staffing impacts for the roster in relation to workload demand requirements.
- Identifying and deciding actions to be taken in relation to operations and staffing impacts within given budgeting parameters.
- Working closely with key stakeholders to consider and implement risk management options to support coverage requirements.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless planning and execution.
Requirements:
- High level of experience in business partnering and providing effective solutions to key stakeholders.
- Experience in resource allocation/planning/coordinating functions within an industry environment.
- Proficiency using planning and rostering systems.
- Highly developed problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skillsets with excellent decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under day-to-day operational pressures and take accountability for their work.
