
Freedom and Connection Disability Support Specialist

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with NDIS participants to understand their goals, wants and needs.
- Meet with clients to gain an empathetic understanding of their objectives.
- Collaborate with support teams including families, schools, medical and allied health providers.
- Gather data through assessments, observations and interviews.
You will write and implement behaviour support plans, providing training and coaching to clients and their support networks.
Choose your own caseload and work from home at times that suit you, supporting clients in-person or through telepractice.
This is a contractor position, offering flexible hours and competitive rates.
About You- You are passionate about creating freedom and social connection for people with disability.
- You value mutual respect, empathy and collaboration.
- Hold tertiary qualifications and/or experience in psychology, ABA, speech therapy, occupational therapy, counselling, criminology, disability, education, mental health, music therapy, psychotherapy, special education, social work or related fields.
Additionally, you will need:
- A privately insured vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- ABN.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
