Aged or Disabled Support Specialist.

At our organization, we provide comprehensive care services to individuals with disabilities and the elderly. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged or Disabled Support Specialist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact in the lives of others while advancing their career in aged and disability support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support and care assistance to clients with disabilities and the elderly, including help with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and administering medications as required.
  • Assist clients with essential daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and household duties, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Facilitate healthy lifestyle choices by assisting clients with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and promoting nutritious eating habits.
  • Empower clients by fostering the development of new life skills, covering areas like budgeting, employment readiness, and self-care practices.
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 or above in community services or individual support and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Hold a Yellow Card or be willing to apply.
  • Hold a Blue Card or be willing to apply.
  • Excellent availability, including the capacity to work weekends and nights.

Applicants must have a strong understanding of Asian culture and cultural practices and be able to work effectively with diverse client groups.
