About this role
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Community Connections Specialist. In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with local communities, employers, and job seekers.
Key Responsibilities- Community Outreach: Expand our network of community contacts to increase referrals and support diversity initiatives within employers.
- Employer Engagement: Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Partnership Development: Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local organizations and businesses.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers to guide them through service access and employment opportunities.
- Labor Market Analysis: Analyze labor market trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Talent Development: Support the local leadership team to coach teams to strengthen employer engagement and improve client career outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in Employment Services: Proven experience working in employment services, recruitment, or community engagement.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and adaptability across diverse audiences.
- Local Knowledge: Strong local networks and relationship-building skills.
- Administrative Skills: Solid administrative skills and familiarity with CRM/ESS systems.
- Inclusion and Empowerment: Passion for inclusion and empowering others through employment.
- Driver's License: Current driver's license - essential.
