Job Role Overview

We are seeking professionals with a professional background in psychology, rehabilitation counselling, nursing or social work to join our occupational rehabilitation sector.

This diverse role offers flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals and access to resources from a global infrastructure.

Our occupational rehabilitation consultants provide services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Case management with manageable caseloads and administrative support
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
  • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
  • Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, ADL assessment, workplace and vocational assessments
