Senior Rehabilitation Consultant Role

This dynamic and challenging role is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and growth in a supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads including clients with physical and psychological injuries, collaborating with employers, insurers, and medical professionals to support clients recovering from workplace or motor vehicle injuries.

The successful candidate will have access to national clinical networks and multidisciplinary teams, conducting workplace assessments, functional capacity evaluations, and return-to-work planning to help clients achieve optimal recovery outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for safe return to work
  • Collaborating with employers, insurers, and medical professionals to coordinate rehabilitation plans
  • Developing and implementing individualized return-to-work plans to ensure seamless integration back into the workforce

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications as an Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Osteopath, plus relevant professional accreditation (APHRA, ESSA)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working in a similar role within the Occupational Rehabilitation sector
  • A current driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential
  • A Working with children check card is also required (or willingness to obtain one)
