Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support individuals through workplace injury recovery. Our team works alongside employees to help them rebuild confidence, regain independence, and return to meaningful work.

The Role

This role involves managing complex physical and psychological injury cases and providing health coaching, career coaching, and return-to-work support. You will use your training and skills to guide and manage client journeys as they return to daily life after a psychological injury.

Responsibilities
  • Manage case load of clients with complex physical and psychological injuries.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Perform vocational assessments to identify suitable employment options for clients.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with employers and other stakeholders to facilitate return-to-work.
Requirements
  • Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology, or Psychology.
  • Registration with relevant professional body (ASORC, AASW, APHRA).
  • Experience working in occupational rehabilitation highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation and consultation skills, and ability to establish effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Attention to detail, result-focused approach, organisational skills, and capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Initiative, ability to work unsupervised, and undertake research tasks.
  • Current driver's licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Police clearance and working-with-children check.
