About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Insights to join our team at Optimum Consulting Group. As a key member of our Marketing, Insight and Growth team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth trajectory of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead Insights and Analytics Function: Oversee the insights and analytics function, including the design, development, and implementation of key Voice of Member research and performance reporting.
  • Drive Commercial and Market Experience: Bring commercial and market experience to interpret insights into recommended business actions.
  • Develop Member and Employer Research Program: Develop and execute an ongoing member and employer research and insights program across all key segments.
  • Manage Data Governance and Compliance: Establish robust data governance and compliance measures to ensure data integrity in all activity and reporting.
  • Lead and Mentor Team: Coach and mentor a small team to deliver results and manage relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: A demonstrated background in a similar position leading an insights and data analytics function.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong experience analysing multiple data sets to identify actionable insights.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the superannuation, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve set objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Commercial Mindset: A commercial and analytical mindset.
