**Cloud Security Strategist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Strategist to join our team at Cloudtech Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud security strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Cloud Security Policies and Standards: Create and maintain cloud security policies and standards to ensure best practices in cloud security, including infrastructure, data, and application security.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership in cloud security, develop strategies and plans to enforce company-wide cloud security requirements, address identified risks, and develop cloud security awareness programs.
  • Develop Security Architecture: Develop security architecture for new and existing cloud solutions, and provide technical security expertise to the engineering team.
  • Implement Network and Cloud Security: Architect and implement network security and cloud security on Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with company security policies and standards.
  • Evaluate Vendor Solutions: Evaluate vendor technology solutions to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
  • Document Security Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Security Experience: 5+ years of security experience with key responsibilities in architecture and design, and 8+ years of varied overall IT security experience.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Hands-on experience in securing cloud environments across AWS and Azure is a must.
  • Vendor Solution Assessment: Experience in vendor solution assessment.
  • Security Platform and Application Experience: Deep experience in security-related platform and application experience.
  • Security Frameworks and Standards: Experience with common information security management frameworks (e.g. SOC2, ISO27001, ISCO27002) and Australian Information Security prudential standards.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood pieces for non-technical audiences.
  • Web3/Digital Start-up Experience: Experience in a Web3/digital start-up/scale-up business would be highly desirable.
