About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Analytics to join our IT and Digital Enablement team in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our data science and engineering capabilities, leveraging data and analytics to drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data management strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
  • Lead a team of data scientists and engineers to build and maintain robust data platforms and analytics capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to drive business growth and innovation
Requirements
  • Significant experience in data leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving business growth and innovation through data and analytics
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a strong focus on talent development and succession planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the company's business objectives and strategies
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and evidence of currency in data science and engineering
