About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Overnight Hotel All Rounder to join our team at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean public areas of the hotel, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Prepare, cook, and deliver ordered meals/snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
  • Ensure security policy and procedures are maintained and adhered to, promoting a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to provide exceptional service and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and positive attitude.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Willingness to work across different departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (i.e., Opera) and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation, with a focus on maintaining a high-quality environment for guests.
  • Hold a valid QLD RSA (Response Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends, with minimal supervision.
