Job Description


As a Renewable Energy Field Service Manager at Canadian Solar, you will be responsible for managing our team of field service technicians who install and maintain solar energy systems. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies.



Responsibilities:



  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of field service technicians to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar panel installation and maintenance.
  • Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and project management.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar energy system installations and maintenance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to field service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar panel installation and maintenance.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as OSHA or first aid training.
