Role Summary

This laboratory professional provides comprehensive diagnostic services for a local health district, contributing to high-quality pathology results that support patient care and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply established methods and procedures to perform various laboratory investigations and technical tasks as directed.
  • Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and equipment maintenance in line with laboratory processes, protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution with relevant subjects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in delivering pathology services within a relevant discipline, including the use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems.
