Diagnostic Laboratory Professional

A dynamic and challenging career awaits as a diagnostic laboratory professional, where you will be part of a team responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures.
- Conduct manual and automated diagnostic testing to support patient care
- Assist with inventory management, compliance, and quality assurance activities to ensure seamless laboratory operations
- Maintain equipment, operate it in line with protocols, and stay updated on scientific knowledge to drive excellence
Working across two hospital laboratories, you will participate in routine and audit-related Quality Assurance activities, contribute to continuous improvement, and develop new assays as required.
Main Responsibilities- Perform all routine procedures from specimen reception to execution of results with accuracy and precision
- Support stock control, compliance, and records maintenance to ensure data integrity
- Participate in training staff and liaise with stakeholders regarding test results or referrals to enhance communication
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent, and demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise, and skills in a multidisciplinary laboratory setting, including Biochemistry, Haematology, and Blood Sciences.
