Job Title: Senior Utilities Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utilities Engineer to join our Civil Team in providing Utility engineering services to the Transport, Defence and Water Infrastructure Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study, design, specification and services of utilities infrastructure, specifically in the area of transport and water.
  • Devise new approaches to problems encountered.
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Perform work which involve conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Experience in design and/or practical experience in the coordination and delivery of utility designs and approvals throughout the design and construction process.
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships within the Utilities design and construction process.
  • Strong technical design ability specifically in the Utilities environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety.
  • Chartered Status is Preferred.
