Role Overview

As a Principal Civil Engineer - Utilities at Arcadis, you will play a key role in managing utility relocation designs and coordinating with civil/structural designs to resolve clashes and design relocations. You will lead 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection of utilities in appropriate 3D software, working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage utility relocation designs with civil/structural designs to resolve clashes and design relocations
- Lead 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection of utilities in appropriate 3D software
- Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
- Provide leadership and technical advice to project team members

Requirements

- Tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in utilities design
- Relevant engineering degree and chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Experience in managing utility approval processes for major utility relocation and protection designs on infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
